Since Charo's cuchi cuchi thrusts are way too hot for primetime and the producers of the Academy Awards can't afford to pay for the booze on Betty White's rider, they have pulled two random names out of the Oscar statute's ass and have asked them to host next year's show.

Deadline Hollywood says that James Franco, who will probably be nominated for 127 Hours, and Anne Hathaway, who will probably be nominated for a Razzie for Love and Other Drugs or Valentine's Day, will host the Oscars together next year!!! BRAND NEW DRINKING GAME! Every time a song bursts out of Anne Hathaway's mouth, do a shot! And every time James Franco jokes about being a stoner, do a pot brownie shot! This is a win! Here's the official statement from the producers:

"James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons? fresh, exciting and multi-talented. We hope to create an Oscar broadcast that will both showcase their incredible talents and entertain the world on February 27. We are completely thrilled that James and Anne will be joining forces with our brilliant creative team to do just that.?

At first I was like "HUH!?", but then I remembered James Franco saying that he can't keep his hands off his dick. The Oscars are about 127 hours long (give or take a few days), so that means we'll most likely get at least a dozen shots of James' hand hugging his peen. And his nutsack better wear a bow tie. James Franco, Anne Hathaway To Host The Oscars

Actors will take the stage together on February 27, the Academy announces.

In an unexpected Oscar turn two years ago, Anne Hathaway joined host Hugh Jackman onstage for a parody of "Frost/Nixon." And James Franco's entire career, from starring in "General Hospital" to appearing as a pillow-humping version of himself in "30 Rock," can be filed under the category of "What will that dude do next?"

Well, as unexpected as it may be, next up for both Franco and Hathaway is co-hosting the 83rd Annual Academy Awards next year. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences made the announcement on Monday (November 29), hours after rumors of the actors' involvement surfaced.

Beyond his hosting gig, Franco figures to play a prominent part in the ceremony. The 32-year-old is considered a lock for a best-actor nomination for his turn as a trapped hiker in "127 Hours," the Danny Boyle-directed drama that's also expected to nab a Best Picture nod. Hathaway, 28, meanwhile, remains a long-shot in the best-actress category for "Love & Other Drugs," a film that received mixed reviews and reeled in just $14 million over the extended Thanksgiving holiday.

Hiring Franco and Hathaway as hosts certainly mark a strategic turn by the Academy, which has long been accused of being out-of-touch with the young pop-culture mainstream. A quick scan of the last two decades of Oscar history shows that not one host has even been as young as in his or her 30s when emceeing the show.

Most recently, 64-year-old Steve Martin and 51-year-old Alec Baldwin assumed hosting duties, notching the show's best ratings in five years.

A few months back we mentioned that Anderson Cooper would be launching a day time talk show set to premiere next fall. Well the show finally has a home and it?s going to be on Fox of all places. Three Fox-owned stations in the top markets have already cleared the show, which was unexpected as Fox News rivals Cooper?s CNN show. Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution president Ken Werner stated: "Although the marketplace for fall 2011 has been filled by many returning franchises and the expansion of news programs, there is still a big opportunity across stations. We are delighted that these major market stations have embraced the opportunity to bring one of America's finest storytellers to daytime and early fringe viewers." The show is already being described as one which will "bring to viewers the biggest celebrity and newsmaker interviews, fascinating human interest stories and in-depth coverage of pop culture, social issues, trends and major events." Next up on our short list of people for whom we're most thankful this year: Mark Wahlberg. Certain generations will always remember him as Marky Mark from his days of "Good Vibrations" and Calvin Klein underwear ads. But in the last decade, Wahlberg has emerged as one of the industry's most savvy and bankable players.

In 2010, we were introduced to a new side of Wahlberg — his comedic timing — which he showcased by way of "Date Night," "The Other Guys" and MTV's own "The Knife Show." Behind the screen, Wahlberg teamed up with heavyweights Martin Scorsese and Terrence Winter ("The Sopranos") to bring "Boardwalk Empire" to HBO. He also produced and stars in "The Fighter." The man has been busy, and we're happy about it.

MTV: You're one of the people we're most thankful for. Has this year been particularly better than others?

Mark Wahlberg: It has. Every year above ground was a special year. Professionally, things couldn't be better. Personally, my kids are healthy — aside from my youngest having a double ear infection. My wife is healthy and happy and everything is good, so really I'm so blessed and so fortunate.

We've had a chance to talk and play around, but I'm not one of these guys who feels, like, entitled to be in this position. I feel so grateful and so humble. I've obviously worked very hard, it's been an amazing journey, but if it ended today, I would be happy because I was on the ride.

MTV: Is there a highlight from this year?

Wahlberg: I would have to say between the movie stuff and the television stuff — with "Boardwalk Empire" premiering, "The Other Guys" did so well. Getting to go do a comedy at the beginning of this year with Seth McFarlane, his directorial debut. I'm so excited, it's off-the-charts funny.

MTV: Tell me about "Teddy Bear," because it sounds absurd and amazing at the same time.

Wahlberg: I don't know how much he wants me to tell, but it's about this kid who gets a bear for Christmas, it's in the '70s, it's one of those Teddy Ruxpin-ish bears where you squeeze it and it says, "I love you!" The kid wishes and dreams that the bear would come alive, and a Christmas wish must be granted and it does. And Seth McFarlane is voicing the bear, but the bear is going to look like a little teddy bear, but it's motion-capture, like "Avatar." It's never been done before. It's insane. What the bear does is just ...

MTV: An R-rated comedy? I assume when Seth McFarlane is involved ...

Wahlberg: Yeah. The bear becomes famous, and then that's my ticket to getting things and living a life of privilege.

MTV: How satisfying was it for you to finally make "The Fighter"?

Wahlberg: Just to be able to get the movie made was such an uphill battle. I was so happy we got it made, and then the fact that we were able to make a great movie and, I think, the best possible version of the movie. There were so many times where I thought I would make the movie just to get it done, but it happened for the right reasons.

MTV: Do you have plans to direct?

Wahlberg: I want to direct, but I don't want to direct myself in a movie, because then it becomes about directing my performance. I don't have the ability to be that kind of multitasker. Producing was tough enough. But in the future, I'd like to take a crack at it.

MTV: What's next? You've talked about "Cocaine Cowboys."

Wahlberg: Yeah, probably right now. And then there's this other thing, "Broken City," that I want to do at the end of next year with Allen Hughes directing, which is on the Black List. [Editor's note: The Black List is a compendium of unproduced screenplays that different studios/readers have given high marks to.] It's one of the best unproduced screenplays, an amazing piece of material that should attract amazing talent. ... Hopefully "Fighter" will make it a little easier to get some of these passion projects off the ground.

MTV: What kind of film is "Broken City"?

Wahlberg: Crime, mystery. It's in the vein of those old classics, "Chinatown," even "L.A. Confidential."

Presenting: The First Photo from Breaking Dawn!

Director Bill Condon has given Twilight Saga fans a major gift for Thanksgiving: The first photo from Breaking Dawn!

The film opens in less than a year, on November 18, 2011. While Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been photographed making out with each other in Brazil over the last couple weeks, this is the first actual image from the movie.
